Level: Chapter OneIt wasn’t fair. It was never fair. As long as I could remember, I never got my way. Now I was being forced to leave home and go live in California with my stepfather and his stupid family. My mom had told me this was the right thing to do; he was in a time of loss and we were to go and support him the whole way.   When I was six I went fatherless. My dad was in a terrible car accident, which had left him dismembered (an arm and both legs were crushed in the accident) and on the verge of death. The doctors told my mom he only had so many hours to live and that those would be the most painful. They couldn’t have been more wr Level: Chapter One

Better EducationThey all sat and stared. That’s all they ever did. Once in a while someone would sneeze, but then the atmosphere would return to the same dull, boring silence. The only sound to be heard was the soft tick and click of the machines working the equations into the numb, zombified teenagers. No teachers were needed. The students would just come sit down at a desk and a machine would come down from above and attach itself to the head and feed the information in.   
The machine was suspended by a lone clump of wires and cords that extended into the ceiling and disappeared. The part of the machine that fed the information was shaped l Better Education

oh the horror... at least it's the last year

so... i'm writing in all lower case letters 'cause i want the full effect of how much i really did not want to go back to school flood over anyone who reads this. i love my school and teachers and friends and classes (with exception of math *shudder*), i honestly don't like HOMEWORK and waking up at 6:00 A.M. in order to go to school until 3:15 P.M. oh, the joy. but at least this is senior year and hopefully i'll get into my choice college or at least the college that's right for me. well we'll see.
goodbye my last summer in high school!!!!!!!!!! NOW'S THE GLORIOUS COUNTDOWN!
